Real Madrid vs Granada (2012)
Today Madrid hosts Granada in hopes of taking home three points for the first time this season. After stumbling horribly in their first two matches against Valencia and Getafe, Madrid recieved a huge confidence boost after defeating Barcelona in the Supercopa and claiming the first trophy of the season. New club additions Modric and Essien make the squad list and may feature in today’s affair with fatigue from the midweek match still possibly lingering in the lineup. Madrid have beaten Granada 23 times, drawing 8 times, and losing only twice in their history together and I believe Madrid’s form from the Super Cup will carry over into today’s match and the Whites will surely begin their assault on the top of the table.
